Today, on August 11th our Whippet litter arrived ! The father is Barnesmore Back in Black and the mother is Barnesmore Lady Bird.

We have a Border Terrier Litter (3 males and 2 females) out of Glen Mara Valsea Deax Temps and Pitlochry's Olijfje.

Pitlochry's Gloria Grey gave birth to 5 healthy puppies -  2 males and 3 females on July 6th.

What a weekend in Germany... Our youngster Always My Bryan Roan Inish (WW'11 Crufts Winner'13 Ch Pitlochry's O'Bryan Orak x WW'11 Ch Absolute Roan Inish Tullamore Good Stuff) wins Junior class both days, and wins Best Male - Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday under breeder-judge Dagmar Kenis Prordham of Solstrand Irish Wolfhounds from the UK. 

WW'13 Ch Pitlochry's Darragh wins the CAC both days and Pitlochry's Gipsey repeats his success in bitches. 

However, the biggest thrill to us was the 8-year-old Ch Pitlochry's Velvet winning VETERAN BEST IN SHOW on Sunday, congratulations to her owner Tapio Hellman from Finland !

Pitlochry's Joshua has done remarkably well in the show ring under his owner's wings: this year he has taken as many as 7 Group placements in Canada! His most recent is a Group2 at the prestigous Purina Natonal under sighthound expert M Davis from Australia.

Gabor earns his place in KC Stud Book

We're more than proud of our English-owned Pitlochry's Gabor for having earnt his Kennel Club Stud Book Number at Border Union Agricultural Society Championship Show. Congratulations to his owner Ann Macaulay of Gartlove Irish Wolfhounds from Scotland. 

We also congratulate Ann on her new English champion, Ch Gartlove Goraidh !

Oss International All-Breed Show - the Netherlands

Our 12-month-old youngster, Always My Bryan Roan Inish (WW'11 Crufts Winner'13 Pitlochry's O'Bryan Orak - WW'11 Absolute Roan Inish Tullamore Good Stuff) won his second Junior CC in a row at the Oss International, and added a Best of Breed as well to his account.

At the very first show of her life, Pitlochry's Irish Rose (WW'11 Crufts Winner'13 Pitlochry's O'Bryan Orak - Ch Pitlochry's Lovesong) won the Bitch CC, Best of Opposite Sex at the Drammen International under sighthound authority Elisabet Janzon of the famed Wolf Tone hounds from Sweden, from a total entry of 23 Irish Wolfhounds.

World Dog Show Budapest - Hungary

We're more than thrilled and proud to announce that we returned from Budapest with both the Dog and Bitch tickets, Best of Breed and an additional Reserve ticket even !

Our Ch Pitlochry's Darragh (Ch Pitlochry's Catwaezle x WW'10 Ch Giggles of Aerie) won a strong Champion class and the World Winner title as well.

In the bitches, our Ch Cualainn Huldah (Pitlochry's Rolex x Uk Ch Cualainn Persia) won an extremely hot Open class, and right after her triumph our Ch Ballinskellig My Fair Lady (Ch Pitlochry's Andreas x Wonderful Girl von der Oelmuhle) topped Champion class, and went on to become World Winner ! In addition to that, our Huldah went Reserve World Winner to her, a fruitful day indeed !

Afterwards, Lady won Best of Breed and was shortlisted in the Group finals by Mr Kenneth Edh from Sweden.

Our most sincere appreciation to breed judge Lisbeth Mach of Superstar Poodles from Switzerland for rewarding the qualities of our dogs !

Many Congratulations to Christa Hermsen (Holland) on winning both Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex at the National Specialty of the Hungarian Irish Wolfhound Club with her homebred Skibberdeen's Bryanne (Skibberdeen's Rudolph x Pitlochry's Venus) and Skibberdeen's Rudolph (Pitlochry's Catwaezle x Pitlochry's Venus) under sighthound specialists Jean Brixhe (B) and Jim Behan (IE)!

Dutch Irish Wolfhound Club National Specialty - the Netherlands

On the very first show on his life, Always My Bryan Roan Inish, son of WW'11 & Crufts Winner'13 Ch Pitlochry's O'Bryan Orak and WW'11 Ch Absolute Roan Inish Tullamore Good Stuff, goes Best Junior Male & JUNIOR BEST IN SHOW at the Dutch National Specialty under breeder-judge Timothy Finney of  the Gulliagh Hounds from Ireland, and the 15-month-old Pitlochry's Nelson (Crufts Winner'12 Skibberdeen's Rudolph x Irish Dream Adolva) took Runner-Up to him in Junior class. 

Pitlochry's Othello (Ch Pitlochry's Ramses x Pitlochry's Emmely) won a strong Intermediate Class, and our Pitlochry's Catwaezle daughter; Grania Roan Inish went Reserve Best Bitch. 

A former bitch of ours, Maxima von der Oelmuhle (Iceman von der Oelmuhle x Pitlochry's Roxan) won Best Bitch and BEST IN SHOW! Congratulations to her present owner Christa Hermsen of the Skibberdeen's Irish Wolfhounds (NL) !

IERDIE Specialty Show - the Netherlands

IERDIE Irish Wolfhound Specialty for Young Dogs and Veterans

Unfortunately this year we couldn't show our dogs at the IERDIE Specialty Show due to the fact that we have two irish wolfhound litters to take care of at the moment, but we were thrilled to hear the news that Lancelot du Pays Rurale, a son of Ch Pitlochry's Sting and Pitlochry's Octavia won Best in Specialty Show ! 

Lancelot is owned by Bussemaker Margreet (NL), was bred by Bredero-Splinter (NL) and, on this occasion, was piloted to Best in Show by Marloes Jansen (NL).
